Collecting this data is technically necessary in order to deliver the website securely and reliably. The legal basis is Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR; I have a legitimate interest in the reliable presentation of my website.
A data processing agreement pursuant to Article 28 GDPR is in place with the provider. As the provider is based in the United States, personal data may be transferred to a third country. Such transfers are safeguarded by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and, where applicable, by the provider's certification under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. This website does not use analytics, marketing or tracking cookies. Only technically necessary cookies are used, where these are required by the hosting provider for the secure operation of the site. These cookies cause no harm and do not enable tracking of your behaviour.
The legal basis for technically necessary cookies is Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR together with Section 25 (2) of the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG). You can configure your browser to notify you about cookies and to allow them only in individual cases, or to exclude them generally.
4. Fonts
This website does not load fonts from third-party servers. Only system fonts, or font files delivered locally by the hosting provider, are used. No data is transmitted to Google or any other font provider.
5. Contact by email
If you contact me by email, the details you provide, including the contact data you supply, will be stored in order to process your enquiry and in case of follow-up questions. This data is not passed on without your consent.
Processing takes place on the basis of Article 6 (1) (b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to the performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, processing is based on my legitimate interest in responding to enquiries (Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR) or on your consent (Article 6 (1) (a) GDPR). The data remains with me until the purpose for storing it no longer applies or you request its deletion.
6. External links and social media
This website links to external services using plain hyperlinks. No social media plug-ins or embedded feeds are used that would transmit data to third parties when the page loads. Data is only transmitted once you actively click such a link and are taken to the provider's own site, where that provider's privacy policy applies.

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, this site uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the change in the browser address bar from "http://" to "https://" and by the padlock symbol.

For the controller, the competent supervisory authority is the Hessian Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (Der Hessische Beauftragte fuer Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit).
11. Withdrawal of consent
Many data processing operations are only possible with your express consent. You may withdraw consent already given at any time. The lawfulness of the data processing carried out prior to withdrawal remains unaffected.
